Summary
- A great long stream for the first time in a long time
- And sadly, the last stream for a long time too. But it is what it is.
- All the last-minute travel prep.
- I wanted to get a lot of tech and remote prep done so I could make sure my access to my network was stable for being gone for so long.
- I had my first failing w-zave device; they have such reliable stuff normally.
- Then came patching, prepping, updating my KVMs and making sure they were static, just a lot of old tasks I had on the backlog.
- The trip out to Utah.
- It was mostly uneventful, a long drive, but we got it done in a good time and got all checked in and settled in.
- The fastest biopsy in the case of biopsies!
- This doctor ran down this biopsy so fast, not sloppy fast. He was damn efficient.
- Early AM chemo for a week
- Yay? At least it’s not the super rough chemo, just the medium-grade stuff. If that’s a thing.
- However, 8 AM chemo every day builds up on you fast.
- All the medical care and tests and checks in the wooooorld.
- It’s not even a 5 days a week kinda thing; we are a constant 7 days, no break
- Playing with themes.
- While I want to stop spending all my time playing with my shell. What are my themes doing? Experimenting with different ones now to see if anything coherent sticks.
- Different hospitals, different styles
- It’s so weird how different hospitals work. From little things, how they all have different lines and caps and ways of handling things.
- Work is working
- I have some of my own tasks and tickets, and my implementations are going well. It’s not fun juggling it along with all of these medical appointments and Chemo, but I am making do

- They dropped a “redo” of their biggest album, “Wither, Blister, Burn, & Peel.” Sadly, it just makes me want to listen to the original a lot more. A lot of the songs don’t hit the same.

- Welp, listening to Stabbing Westward makes me want to listen to Filter, and oh boy, I love me some Filter.

- This is a new one for me. I am normally not huge into metal, but I grabbed this new album, “Who loves the sun,” from a review, and it has its hooks in me. Sludge metal is my thing, I guess
